Dr. Amitabha Das is a Gold Medalist from Medical College, Kolkata, and has been trained in Neurosurgery at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. In the past 14 years, he has enriched himself with neurosurgical knowledge from the stalwarts in this country. At the same time, his research works have contributed to this field. He is a leading neurosurgeon in Kolkata. With his vast experience, he has treated thousands of patients with neurosurgical diseases.
Being the son of generous and educated parents, Dr. Das is always there for those who need him. He left his job in Liverpool, UK to serve his country. He founded a Charitable welfare trust in the name of his late mother for society. Dr. Das is a dynamic person and is involved in several areas of social services.
He has been felicitated by the International Human Rights Commission for his dedication and innovation in the field of Neurosurgery; as well as for his contribution to society. He is a Life member of the prestigious Neurological Society of India. He also runs several teaching programs for neurosurgical trainees and paramedics.
